October Surprise

I know it's been a while so figured it's time to shock everyone and check in.  Here's what happened this spring and summer...we took a family trip to Arizona, Sawyer turned one, we took a trip down to Carmel, traveled back down to LA, and I started pre-school 5 times a week.  Mommy went to Vietnam for a week and daddy courageously called his mommy to help out.  Oh, and all my cousins now live within 15 miles of me.  Woo-hoo!!!

Trips to Wisconsin, Phoenix, and down the California coast are great and all, but I still haven't gone on a real beach vacation. That changed this past week when I flew to Maui for fun in the sun. I loved playing on the beach, going swimming, hanging out with cousins Tate and Caleb, and of course, the airplane flight. I was so excited on the airplane I didn't even sleep on either leg! Here are some pictures of me on the beach and in the pool. Even Sawyer went in the water!

What an end to 2011...sure it stinks to have my birthday on Christmas, but somehow I end up with a deluge of gifts for my birthday, Christmas, and Hannukah. It was an exciting end to the new year with a trip to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving, a week-long celebration for my birthday, and visits from all my grandparents and the Prices from Maryland. Here are cousin Nicholas and I examining Grandpa Nong (our diagnosis...needs more cookies), Daddy and I on the frog-hopper ride (daddy screamed more than I did), and cousin Laila playing with baby Sawyer.
